Hand carded art batt for spinning or felt making
“Clarity” is inspired by soft crystal tones and is made from luxury hand dyed fibres such as faux cashmere, tencel, soya silk, firestar, bamboo, merino, Corriedale, Norfolk Horn, Leicester Longwool Locks, swalesdale, angelina, silk waste, and mohair Lock’s.
I have collected rocks and crystals since I was 5 years old, and I have always loved their colours, the transparent surfaces and the beautiful organic shapes the crystals form. I’ve tried to capture this by creating a batt full of reflective surfaces.
