Beautiful "John A. Thulin" countermarch weaving loom, with 12 shafts.
This loom is a typical Swedish countermarch loom, very similar to the Glimakra ideal. It was made in Sweden and the hard Swedish pine wood is in great condition.
It has 12 shafts, and 14 pedals. It has a 1 yard weaving width and is roughly 1.2 metres deep, and 1.2 metres wide. It comes with all lams, pedals, shaft bars, a reed, associated warping sticks, and string heddles.
Please note the pictures do not show the lams, shaft bars, or treadles etc, but they are all there and in great condition.
You rarely find looms with more than 8 shafts, and this loom is very exciting for that reason! The beater is strong, and the loom is easy to take down and put back together due to its "peg" construction system.
This loom is great for weaving rugs through to fashion fabrics.
It currently does not have texsolv tie up, however I am able to convert it to texsolv for you if you require for extra.
