Hand spun art yarn 

This is a mermaid yarn. How do I know this? Because of the colours, the textures, the sparkle. :-)

This art yarn was made with so many lovely things, in pale greens, blues, turquoises, raspberry pinks, greys and mint.. <3

• Locks from local flocks of Leicester Longwool and Llanwenog sheep, gathered nearby to my home in Suffolk and hand processed and dyed in my home studio. 
• Long lengths of turquoise sequins
• hand dyed firestar - glittery shimmery soft fibre
• Hand dyed cotton fibres
• Angelina sparkle threads
• soya silk, recycled silk waste,merino and BFL

All of these magical ingredients were spun using a combination of my "cloud" and lock spinning methods in singles style. I fluff up a big pile of fibres on my lap and let all the textures just flow into the wheel as they come, and deliberately look for locks to flick out their tips to they create a fringed look. 

I am in love with this yarn and I know you will be too.
