Natural Dyeing Workshop


Natural Dye Workshop. Learn to dye your own yarn and fabric naturally with leaves, flowers and bark. Spend a day learning a new skill and discovering the beautiful colours that surround us. A perfect gift for a knitter!

Start the day with a short walk around the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside foraging for wild ingredients with textiles expert Louise Player, then turn your treasures into colourful dyes for wool, cotton and silk. Learn about the ancient process of dyeing with plants try the techniques for yourself! 

All materials are included in the course - take home a selection of wild hued fabric and yarn samples for your sketchbook and comprehensive notes for you to continue your discoveries at home.

One to One Tuition, £130 / Day

Group (four or more people) £80 pp/ Day

Louise's natural dye workshop runs from 10am - 4pm with vegetarian lunch included.

A foraging walk is optional.

Louise's workshops are held in the beautiful fen village of Waterbeach, just 5 miles from historic Cambridge, set near the banks of the river Cam.
