There is a quiet pleasure in a shuttle that glides cleanly through the shed. Ashford's lacquered Silver Beech boat shuttles sit comfortably in the hand, protect the yarn inside the shuttle and feed it smoothly as you weave—especially lovely on wider warps or whenever you want a quicker weaving rhythm.
- Two lengths: 29cm (11.5in) and 38cm (15in).
- Approximately 45mm wide and 25mm high.
- Each shuttle includes one boat-shuttle bobbin.
- Smooth lacquered hardwood finish.
Compatibility note: choose a shuttle comfortably shorter than the open shed on your loom. These use Ashford boat-shuttle bobbins; extra nylon and paper bobbins are available separately.
