Ashford Sliding Hook Flyer & Bobbin Sets

Upgrade your Ashford wheel with the simple pleasure of a bobbin that fills smoothly from end to end. The stainless-steel squeeze-and-slide hook lets you place the yarn exactly where you want it, while strong, feather-light fibreglass flyer arms keep the action responsive and beautifully balanced.

Each set includes a natural timber sliding-hook flyer and one matching bobbin. Choose carefully between single drive, double drive, standard and jumbo: the bobbin and drive system must match your wheel and flyer.

• Standard single drive: for compatible single-drive Traditional and Traveller wheels
• Jumbo single drive: extra capacity and a wider yarn path for chunkier spinning
• Standard double drive: for compatible double-drive Traditional, Traveller and Elizabeth wheels
• Jumbo double drive: extra capacity for compatible double-drive wheels; includes reducer bush

Compatibility note: sliding-hook bobbins are not the same as Ashford standard flyer bobbins. Check your wheel model, drive system and existing bobbin type before ordering. If you are unsure, send me a photograph and I will happily help you choose.
