Ashford Wool Dyes – 100g

This is colour in its most concentrated, exhilarating form: fourteen clear Ashford shades made for wool, silk and other animal fibres, ready to use alone or mix into your own endlessly personal palette. A 100g tub goes a wonderfully long way—at a 1% depth of shade, 10g will dye approximately 1kg of fibre.

• 100g concentrated acid-exhaust protein-fibre dye.
• Suitable for wool, silk, cashmere, mohair, angora, alpaca and other animal protein fibres.
• Requires heat plus white vinegar or citric acid as the acid fixative.
• Colours intermix; results vary beautifully with fibre, water, concentration and technique.

Please note: these dyes are for protein fibres, not plant fibres such as cotton or linen. Colour shown on screen is only a guide. Follow Ashford's current instructions and safety data: avoid breathing powder, wear suitable gloves and a dust mask while measuring, work with good ventilation, use dedicated non-food utensils, and keep dye and equipment away from children and food preparation.
