This is the beautifully simple little brush that makes an Ashford Blending Board much easier to love. Its long, firm wire teeth help you press wisps of fibre gently into the carding cloth as you build your colour story—soft veils, bright flashes, gleaming silks and delicious little scraps of texture—all held neatly in place ready to become rolags.
It is the genuine replacement brush supplied for the Ashford Blending Board, and a very useful spare if your original has wandered off into the studio wilderness. Use light, even strokes rather than forcing the fibre deeply into the board: the pleasure is in layering colour and texture while keeping everything airy enough to draft beautifully.
Compatibility: This listing is for the Ashford Blending Board brush. It is not the cleaning brush or packer brush used with Ashford drum carders.
