Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom Freedom Roller

The Freedom Roller is a brilliantly liberating addition to an Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom. This extra front roller gives bulky, dimensional cloth somewhere to live without crushing it tightly around the ordinary cloth beam — perfect for deep rya knots, rag rugs, lofty handspun, thick texture and wonderfully adventurous woven surfaces.

It also lets you weave longer lengths, tackle double-width projects more comfortably and work several pieces on one warp without repeatedly cutting off and re-lashing. The roller attaches quickly, and the loom’s existing knobs can stay in place so you can switch between the normal roller and Freedom Roller whenever your project changes.
