Move from DesignaKnit 8 HandKnit to DesignaKnit 9 HandKnit while keeping the hand-knitting tools you know and bringing your software up to date.

This is the like-for-like upgrade for an existing, eligible DesignaKnit 8 HandKnit licence. It is a lovely choice if you use DesignaKnit to shape garments around your own measurements and tension, draw original pieces, build stitch charts and follow your work row by row.

Important eligibility note: Soft Byte needs proof of your qualifying DesignaKnit 8 licence. They normally request either the original DK8 CD or a clear photograph of it cut in half, with the licence number still readable. Please do not alter or send anything until I have confirmed the exact next step with you.

Please note: this is an upgrade licence, not a full first-time licence, and it is only suitable if you already own DesignaKnit 8 HandKnit. DesignaKnit 9 runs on Windows; it does not run on an iPad or Chromebook, and Mac users need Windows running under suitable virtualisation software.
