DesignaKnit 9 HandKnit Upgrade from Version 5, 6 or 7

Upgrade an eligible DesignaKnit 5, 6 or 7 licence to DesignaKnit 9 HandKnit without buying a new full licence.

This is the supported older-version route for hand knitters who want to design around their own yarn, measurements and ideas. HandKnit gives you garment shaping, Original Pattern Drafting, stitch-chart design and Interactive Knitting for hand-knitted projects. It does not include machine cable-link control.

I have worked with DesignaKnit for many years and am very happy to help you identify your existing edition and choose the right destination before anything is processed.

• Licence keys allow installation on two computers

Important eligibility note: Soft Byte needs proof of your qualifying older DesignaKnit licence. They normally request either the old installation media or a clear photograph of it cut in half, with the licence number still readable. Please do not alter or send anything until I have confirmed the exact next step with you.

If your DesignaKnit version is earlier than Version 5, please contact me before ordering. Soft Byte’s current public form supports versions earlier than 8, but I will check the correct supplier route and price for your particular licence rather than assume.

Please note: this is an upgrade licence, not a full first-time licence. DesignaKnit 9 runs on Windows; it does not run on an iPad or Chromebook. Machine connection hardware is separate.
