Louet Electric XL Drum Carder with 30cm carding drum and safety cover

Louet Electric Drum Carders – Standard & XL, 230V

£1,945.00

For those glorious, fibre-filled days when you want to card more fleece with less effort, Louet’s Electric Drum Carders bring power, consistency and two-handed control to the preparation table. The motor turns the drum steadily while both hands remain free to guide the fibre, helping you create smooth, even batts for spinning, felting and colour blending.

Choose the Standard 19cm model for a generous everyday working width and batches of approximately 80g, or the XL 30cm model when you need wider, production-sized batts of approximately 120g.

Choose your carding cloth

  • 46 TPI has more open cloth and is particularly useful for coarser fibres, fleece preparation and the first pass through less-prepared wool.
  • 72 TPI is a versatile finer cloth for many commonly used spinning fibres and smoother, more refined batts.
