Louet Flicker – 6 × 10cm, 72 TPI

A beautifully compact Louet flicker for opening individual locks before spinning. The curved tulipwood paddle sits comfortably in the hand, while the firmer 72 TPI carding cloth helps tease apart matted tips and align the fibres without carding the whole lock into a batt.

It is especially lovely for working through treasured fleece a lock at a time, preserving colour changes and character while preparing the fibres for a smooth draw.

The teeth are made from high-grade plated steel wire. Use the flicker on a protected surface and keep fingers clear of the carding cloth.
