Louet S17 Spinning Wheel

The Louet S17 is designed for the aspiring new spinner.

This fantastic-value single-treadle everyday wheel has smooth ball-bearing operation like all Louet wheels, easy treadling and a well-balanced wheel. A great wheel at a really great price. A high-speed flyer and bobbins and a bulky flyer and bobbins are available to make this a truly versatile spinning wheel.

To achieve cost savings it is unlacquered and mainly made from laminated birch. The wood is sanded and the edges are rounded, so it only requires finishing with lacquer, stain or wax.

The wheel comes as a self-assembly kit with a lazy kate and three bobbins included. The technical specifications are the same as the IrT version of the S10 Concept, so compatible IrT flyers and bobbins will fit.

Please check compatibility carefully: this is the Irish-tension S17. Louet Scotch-tension bobbins and flyer parts are not interchangeable unless Louet specifically states compatibility.
