Silver Reed 580 Lace Carriage for SK840

The Silver Reed 580 Lace Carriage is the dedicated lace carriage for the SK840 electronic standard-gauge knitting machine. It transfers stitches and knits the row in one smooth pass, so delicate lace can be produced far more quickly than with a separate transfer-only carriage.

This is the accessory to choose if you want to make lace a real part of what your SK840 can do. It can work across the full 200-needle bed and gives you scope for beautiful all-over lace, fashion lace and individual lace motifs, with your electronic patterning setup controlling the design.

Please note: this is the 580 Lace Carriage for the electronic SK840. If you have the punch-card SK280, you need the LC2 Lace Carriage instead. Your SK840 also needs its electronic patterning setup, such as DesignaKnit and the appropriate SilverLink connection, to select and send electronic lace patterns.
