The Silver Reed LC2 is the lace carriage for the SK280 punch-card knitting machine. It transfers stitches and knits the row in one smooth pass, making beautiful transfer lace much quicker and more enjoyable to produce.

It is a brilliant addition if lace is one of the reasons you chose a standard-gauge machine: you can work delicate all-over patterns, fashion lace and more intricate multiple-transfer designs while still using the familiar 24-stitch punch-card system of the SK280.

Please note: this is the LC2 for the punch-card SK280. If you have the electronic SK840, you need the 580 Lace Carriage instead. Please check the model number on your machine before ordering, or send me a message and I will help you make sure you have the right one.
