Soft Byte USB BrotherLink 1 for DesignaKnit
The USB BrotherLink 1 connects DesignaKnit to compatible Brother electronic knitting machines, allowing stitch patterns to move between the software and the machine or PPD memory.
It is a very useful link when you want to design or edit a pattern in DesignaKnit and send it to your Brother machine, or bring supported 900-series patterns back into the software.
Compatible machines and equipment
- Brother KH930, KH940, KH950i, KH965i and KH970
- Brother PPD using Cartridge III in KH900 mode
- Brother PPD using the CK35 cartridge
- USB-A connection to a Windows computer
Good to know: this is principally the pattern-transfer link. If you also want magnetic carriage tracking for Interactive Knitting with almost any machine, the BrotherLink 5 is the more flexible choice.
DesignaKnit software is not included. Cable links are very machine-specific, so if you are not completely sure which version you need, please ask me before ordering and I’ll happily help you check.
