Soft Byte USB E6000 Link 1 for DesignaKnit
The USB E6000 Link 1 connects DesignaKnit to a Passap or Pfaff E6000 console so you can download stitch patterns directly into the console memory.
This is the straightforward choice if electronic pattern transfer is what you need and you do not require Interactive Knitting. Patterns can be downloaded to the E6000, but the machine cannot upload patterns back to DesignaKnit.

Only later or updated E6000 consoles can accept downloads. If your console serial number is lower than 6025980, it will need replacement chips before it can use this link. Please check the console number before ordering and contact me if you are unsure.
If you also want Interactive Knitting, choose the USB E6000 Link 2. Link 1 can also be converted later by adding the appropriate Soft Byte magnet arm.
A cable-link-enabled machine-knitting edition of DesignaKnit is required; DesignaKnit HandKnit does not operate cable links.
