Volga is a really useful fine wool-blend yarn for machine knitting and hand knitting, combining the warmth and handle of wool with the durability and easy care of acrylic.
Each 350g cone gives approximately 2,900 metres, so there is plenty of yarn for lightweight garments, layering pieces and fine-gauge projects without constantly joining new balls. The 50% wool / 50% acrylic blend makes it practical to wear and straightforward to care for, while still giving you the character of a wool-rich fabric.
It is suitable for standard-gauge knitting machines and can also be hand knitted. The supplier recommends 3.75mm knitting needles and a 2mm crochet hook.
